Hip-Hop (Narrative Therapy) - 3 Days
Fun. Relevant. Engaging. Powerful…
The use of hip-hop culture and rap music as a vehicle for change within the context of narrative therapy is powerful, relevant, and importantly validated through academic study.
Influenced heavily by the fundamental social learning concepts that underpin Chin Up Project workshops, we champion a framework that uses hip-hop lyrics to assist in core narrative processes such as deconstructing the problem story, unique outcomes, circulation of the new story and re-membering.
Todd leads participants through a process of songwriting, reflection, production, and celebration, challenging dominant stories about hip-hop music as a genre that is exclusively misogynistic, irresponsible, derogatory and offensive.
Each participant will have an opportunity to perform what they have produced at the end of the 3 days.

Boxing and Fitness Camp - 2 Days
Unique. Fulfilling. Challenging. Life changing…
This is a unique opportunity for young people to be involved in a program consisting of a mix of group discussion, body weight exercises, focus mitt and non-contact boxing drills, as well as mindfulness and meditation.
Young people will improve their self-awareness, particularly in relation to how they understand their own triggers, patterns of escalation and how to recognise when they are becoming angry and how to deescalate.
It's no secret that exercise benefits young people positively impacting their moods and how they feel physically. This program will help to relieve symptoms of anxiety and depression by focusing the mind and body in the present moment, while instilling a sense of achievement, building confidence and self-esteem. These physiological benefits are complemented by the expertise our facilitators will bring to the sessions as youth workers with over a decades experience working with at-risk young people.

Innovative Holiday Program Incursion / Excursion (by appointment)
Bespoke to your needs…
We understand better than most that the youth sector provides challenges around care, logistics, supervision and costs, especially during the School holiday period!
Where practical, we are ready to sit down and work out a specific incursion / excursion to meet your specific needs and organisational objectives.
Chin Up Project has some great connections at recreation centres such as Bounce, Skirmish and Strike Bowling. We are always up for discussing how a mixed session involving physical activities at these centres can work in with our other program offerings. Hit us up! We are down to chat!
Details: You decide!
Dates: Our schedule is filling up pretty quickly for the holiday period. Get in quick to lock in some days!
